I never in a million thought I was going to be writing this, it feels like just yesterday we were "twelve years old, know it all" kids.We had our ups, downs, tears, and laughs. We have to admit it was one hell of a ride. Late night phone calls, summer music festivals, bonfires, car rides blasting Mayday Parade songs through the speakers. We made a lot of memories during high school, and I will never forget them. I want to thank you for being my squad, my number one fans and my second family. I will forever and always cherish you guys.
I hope you all are following your passion, and dreams that we all once talked about during sixth grade lunch. I hope you are still running the bases, drawing pictures of awesome things that make you happy, or even sleeping comfortably in your bed. No matter what you all are doing at this very moment in time, I hope you all find the happiness, love and encouragement in this world.
I thank you for being my best friends since I was an awkward, shy, overly quiet kid in middle school. We first became friends because of the My Chemical Romance t-shirt that I wore in sixth grade homeroom. I thank you for being my support system through the first couple days of high school, and being my rock through any situation I found myself in. I thank you for giving me some of the best memories that I will carry throughout my life.
"And you dropped the note and we changed key. You changed yourself and I changed me. I really didn’t see us singing through this. Then you screamed the bridge and I cried the verse. And our chorus came out unrehearsed And you smiled the whole way through it. I guess, maybe, that’s what’s worse." - Mayday Parade, If you wanted a song written about you, all you had to do was ask. No matter where life takes us I hope each and everyone of you sing your favorite songs at the top of your lungs. I hope it reminds you of less complex days, and always puts a smile on your face when you are feeling down, and most importantly reminds you of all the good times we shared.
Miss you all tons, keep following your dreams and never give up.
Forever Rachel
