aHi, friend. How are you? I know life can be rough sometimes, and it may seem like everything can come crashing down at once, but hang in there. Always always always remember that you are worth it.
How long have we been friends now? I can't even remember. But what I do remember is just how amazing you are! We have been through it all— the laughs, the tears, the heartbreaks and all of those crazy weekend adventures that we will smile about for years. Between the inside jokes, being each others' "shoulder to cry on" and everything in between, I just wanted to say I love you!
I know life can get crazy. School is stressful, boys are a hassle, and holding a job on top of that can lead to many mixed emotions. Don't get caught up in the wonders about if you are good enough or the pressure that all of those stresses combined can be. Remember all of those great qualities that make you my best friend. You're caring, the best listener and not to mention hilarious all wrapped into one. If a dumb boy can't see that, or the pressure from your parents gets to be too much, just take a step back and look at the bigger picture we call life. One C isn't going to take away your college degree, and one lousy boy won't even be thought about in years to come. So take some advice from me: smile through the pain, and know that you'll always come out on top.
Do you think we would be as close as we are if you truly weren't worth it? You're worth it in so many ways, and one day, hopefully, you can recognize that too. Sure, there are going to be hard times with the good, but as long as you remember that you are enough, you are loved, and bumps in the road will pass, you can get through anything.
No matter where life takes us, just know I will always be a phone call away for that 2 a.m. crying sesh, or to complain about how stressful your job is. Sure, we may not talk every single day once we have grown up and moved apart, but that never means I am not around to talk, or I love you any less! Remember that what needs to happen will happen, and everything will work out in the end. The road might not be easy, but know I am always here to hold your hand through it all.
You're the Serena to my Blair, the Rachel to my Monica and every other best friend duo you can think of. Although you may never believe the words "you are enough" I want you to know that I truly think you are. Forget the tough boys, the stress of school and always making sure you're on top of life at all times and try to focus on loving yourself for who you are, because you know I do.
