To the guy who renewed my hope in chivalry:

Thank you, truly. You are genuine. You are kind. You listen not just to respond but to understand. We connected on a deeper level than looks. We bonded over intellect and the lack thereof in today’s society. We talked about literature and art. We covered big talk in every meaning of the concept. The conversations were stimulating and refreshing. You are the closest reality to a prince charming that I have yet to meet in this world. Although I could not be your princess, whoever the girl is, she is lucky to have found such a remarkable human being.

You gave me so much in the short time that we were invested and for that I am forever grateful. Just hanging out with you made my self-confidence soar to heights that I did not even know were possible. You made me the happiest I have been in a long time. My heart is heavy but I believe that everything happens for a reason. You have taught me many lessons, lessons that you will never be able to understand but have changed me for the better. Before meeting you, I was convinced the world was full of nothing but dragons and beasts. You have shown me chivalry will always prevail, though it may be hard to find sometimes.

Thank you for your time, your friendship and your kind heart. I wish you nothing but greatness, success, and clarity as you move through life. Find your passion. Discover who you are and what you want to achieve. Spend as much time on ‘you’ as you need to, because at the end of the day all you have is yourself. Take care and remember you have a friend in me.

With the utmost respect and care,

A girl who now believes her prince will come

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
