You fell in love with the way she laughed. She was simple but yet so complex but that’s what you loved about her.

You fell in love with the way she talked. Her voice shook when she was nervous. But what she didn’t know was that you were 10x more nervous than she ever was.

You fell in love with her confidence. She always said what she felt. She spoke her mind. She knew what she was worth, but you didn’t.

You fell in love with the way she looked at things. She saw beauty in everything.

She never thought she was beautiful, but you saw the beauty in her. You realized everything she did was beautiful.

You fell in love with the way she looked when she was sleeping. She adored sleeping next to her.

You never told her how much she meant to you. You never admitted your feelings. She gave you every chance in the world but she never truly know how you felt.

Instead, you made her feel unworthy. You made her feel unlovable.

She second guessed her feelings every night because you were unsure. She opened her heart to you, she was vulnerable but you kept to yourself.

You walked away the second you had a chance because you were scared. You knew where your heart was but you didn’t want to admit it. Not even to yourself.

She was exactly what you wanted. She was more than enough. But you let her go. You let her walk away so easy.

Maybe you weren’t ready. Right girl, wrong timing?

But she was worth chasing.

The girl who could have loved you whole heartedly, you left. And the day you realize you messed up, she will be gone. Someday, someone will fall in love with her just like you did. But instead, she will know it. She will be sure of it. She will be appreciated.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
