You gave up on someone that never would have given up on you.

To The Boy That Led Me On

To the boy that led me on,

I just wanted to say that its funny what you did. I think it's funny you led me on, you told me I was special. You said I was pretty and important. You told me that I "was one of the greatest people you've ever met." I think it's funny that you used me to do anything by the snap of your fingers. You got me to fall for you just enough to be able to watch me crumble when you left me out in the dirt. Day after day, you spent from dawn until dusk talking to me and making me smile. You held my hand in front of your friends and introduced me. You made my presence known by a kiss on the cheek. You introduced me to your family, and your mother loved me. Between going to your sporting events or watching a sporting event in your room, we spent day after day together. It's funny that you looked in my eyes and told me that you would never hurt me. I think it's funny that you said you aren't like the others when you're really just a clone of them. I think its funny that you think that I should worship the ground you walk on. But boy oh boy, you don't deserve anything. In fact you deserve nothing but the worst.

Well here's my thank you. Thank you for hurting me by telling me "you didn't deserve me because I was too good of a person." Thank you for lying to me when there was actually another girl in your life. You truly are one of a kind. I swear that hell has a special place saved for you. I wish you nothing but the worst. I hope the girl you left me for breaks your heart like you broke mine. I hope that she makes you feel like the horrible, worthless, mean, rude person you are. I hope she does the same thing you did to me. I hope that she leads you on just enough to watch you crumble in her hands. I hope you feel as low as I do and you realize you deserve to feel that way. I hope when this all happens you realize what you gave up and that you hate yourself for it. And when you realize what you gave up, I hope you come crawling back and I'll look you in the eyes and tell you that you are simply not worth my time. I'm going to tell you this ... what goes around comes around. If I'm a part of it you can bet your bottom dollar that you will get everything you deserve.

I would've given up everything for you, I pushed people away for you, I treated you with respect, I cared about you, I put you before anyone including myself, I chose you. Out of all the people in the world I chose you to be the one I would put all my energy and time into, and you played me like I was a stupid little game. You gave up someone that would have never given up you.

Sincerely,

The girl you destroyed.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
