College is four years full of crying, all-nighters, endless amounts of coffee and energy drinks, and some of the best memories ever made. College is a time to make lifelong friends that become family over the years, and to finally be able to get the degree you've always dreamed of. Well, it's finally here.
Graduation is just around the corner, and for many that means the end of this chapter and the beginning of another. This could mean grad school, starting that amazing job you have lined up, or starting a life you're proud of. You're about to embark on the biggest journey of your life, and it is going to be amazing. Things are starting to fall into place, and even though I'm going to miss all my friends, I hope for your lives to be filled with the success you deserve.
Being a sophomore is hard when graduation comes around. Seeing all my friends walk the stage in their caps, gowns, honor cords will be a bitter-sweet moment. I'm sad to see them leave a place they've called home for four years, but I'm so proud to see them accomplish something they have worked so hard for. I look up to the seniors leaving as a symbol that we can push through even when things get tough, and I wish they take this mindset with them for the rest of their lives.
I will always cherish the memories I've made with them, and plan to make more in the their last four months here. I can't say how some of them have come to change my life, but they will always be my biggest influence in life. I hope to be as influential to younger students as they have been for me. They have pushed me out of my comfort zone, made me stay up and study for that exam I thought I was going to fail, and made me stay out on weekends I just wanted to sleep. And I'm so glad they did.
The seniors have made my college career so far some of the best memories I could have. I wish that all their aspirations become reality for them, and they never stop striving for greatness.
To all the seniors, stay golden.
