It was inevitable that we would become friends considering we graduated with twenty-nine people. In fifth grade we did the announcements together since our last names were next to each other in the alphabet. We were put in the same UIL events in middle school and when we got into high school we were put in the same FFA contests. You helped me during a mental breakdown while trying not to drown our cardboard boat. You were always there for me when I needed a friend and I will always be grateful for you as well as our friendship.
When you go to college you usually lose touch with your friends from high school, but I feel like we grew closer. We were both facing similar struggles in the transition between living at home and being on our own. I would not have made it through the past two years without you. We made new memories that are way better than the memories we had in high school. I live for the trips you make to come visit me, even if we are only an hour and a half away from each other. I know that no matter what is happening you'll always answer my FaceTime calls. I love to hear your stories about college and everything you are doing. I am so proud of you for growing in your faith as well as a person. You are doing amazing things and will continue to do amazing things throughout your life.
I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for loving me through the hardest part of my life thus far and for always listening to me rant. Thank you for your endless support and telling me the truth whether I want to hear it or not. Thank you for being spontaneous and fun loving. Thank you for always making me laugh until my stomach hurts and for starting new traditions with me. Thank you for not only being my high school best friend, but my best friend forever.
I love you to the moon & back
