An Open Letter to My Future Big

Total Sorority Move

To My Future Big,

I never thought that I would be a sorority girl. But from what I have seen in pictures on Facebook and Instagram and movies, I know that I made the right choice on rushing. I never even thought about writing to some girl that I do not even know yet but will impact my life.

But here I am, a sorority girl- proud to be part of the USF Panhellenic community- writing to you, my future big.

I am already in love with you. I am impatiently waiting for nights to be filled with gossips, laughter, take out, road trips and concerts. I want to be that cliché big and little that everyone wants to be and sees together because we both love each other.

I cannot wait for the cheesy “Happy Birthday” post on Facebook that we are going to write filled with cheesy but adorable big and little pictures. I am already planning on getting matching monogram big and little t-shirts so we can wear them around the house with the other sisters.

You’re going to play a big role in my college life. I know you’re going to be amazing and guide me through the years. I know you’re going to be my shoulder to cry on and give me advice on everything such as life, school, and sisterhood. I hope I have a great connection and become real life sisters and best friends with you.

I love that I am getting a big because I was the oldest in the family. I have a little sister but I have always wanted a big sister to look up to. To guide me in the right direction. Someone who I can tell all my secrets to.

I know I can count on you for anything but I also want YOU to know that I have your back. I can be your shoulder to cry on, listen to you rant about something bad that happen that day, or just eat take-out with you in our pj’s.

I can’t wait to meet you and have you as my BIG!

Love,

Your Future Little

When it comes to Bloomington-Normal, there are many outstanding factors that any Illinois State student can say are unique to our college town (and maybe others too). Proud or not, we Redbirds know all the ins and outs of Blono.

1. The wait for Buffalo Wild Wings is always going to be long on Thursday nights.

As hard as we try, it's nearly impossible to resist the 69-cent wings on a college student budget. Plus, they are always delicious!
