An Open Letter To My Day One

You give the definition to day one a legit meaning. To know that you are there no matter the time of day I call (unless you're in class) you will answer. I know that you will always tell me what I need to hear, even if I don't like it.

Please, never change how or who you are. You are going up to be an amazing young man. You are the type of guy that others want to be, or try to be. I want to grow up and be half the human you are. I want my children be just like you. I want them to have the same bravery, fierceness, smart-mouth, and your easy to get along with personality.

To be able to call you my family, is an amazing feeling. You taught me so much, even though you are younger. I know you are going to be a great parent. Your kids are going to want/need for nothing. If you have a little girl, she will have you wrapped around her finger before you can blink. I know that you go through hard times like everyone does, but you always give me courage.

From me cracking eggs on your head, to watching you fall in-love I can't wait to see what else we get to experience together. I love you, forever and a day.
