I know you guys are going to call me a sap for writing this but it has to be said. I am forever thankful for all the memories we've made. No matter what we’re doing or who we’re with we always have a great time. You guys get me like no one else gets me. The sleepovers where we'd fight over who gets to pick the movie. To the summer days spent by the pool or even the holidays where we’d be so excited to see each other. I honestly don’t think I’d be the person I am today without you.
As we grow up we don’t get to see each other as much and I think it’s made me appreciate you guys so much more. I consider myself so lucky when I tell people that I’m your cousin. I love hearing about your accomplishments like being 'student of the month' or being on homecoming court (and winter formal court). Through it all we support each other. Coming to your sporting events and crying at how amazing you are and that somehow we’re actually related. Even when I royally mess up and you guys are the first people I come to. We’re each other’s biggest fans and biggest support systems and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Looking to the future you guys are who I want to see beside me when I succeed, fail, and everywhere in between. Twenty years from now I want your future kids to call me “aunt”. I want to spend Christmas and thanksgiving together and I never want to lose touch. I will always be thankful to our parents for forcing us to hang out at our grandma’s house (because now at least for me it’s by choice).
