Dear Roomie,
When we went off to college five months ago, one of the biggest shocks was our "house" suddenly being a tiny room, comparable to the size of our bedroom back at home. In this room we would end up spending the majority of our free time in here, sleeping, eating, watching T.V., the list goes on and on.
With one semester down, and the second underway, I wanted to thank you.
Thank you for all of the late-night laughs, laughing at absolutely nothing, keeping us both up late than we should be up.
Thank you for joining me in Jimmy Johns and Flix Wings delivery at 10 pm.
Thank you for keeping your mess on your side of the room, since you know how clean I like to keep mine.
Thank you for sharing the few (very few) clothes of yours that fit me.
Thank you for being there to listen when I am stressed and homesick.
Thank you for going out at night with me, making memories that will no doubt last a lifetime.
Thank you for the countless Facebook videos you share with me, laughing to yourself.
Thank you for still being friends with me even though you see how gross I am/ look when I first wake up in the morning and late at night.
Thank you for all the lazy days where we both spend the night in, laying in bed watching movie and T.V. for hours.
Thank you for loving me, though you now know what it is like to live with me in a tiny room.
Thank you for being a roommate that is understanding and that I get along with.
Thank you for being the piece of comfort from home that I have, that always makes me feel better when I am missing it all.
Thank you for helping me prove everyone that told us best friends should not room together, wrong. We get along and live together far better than many, which I am forever grateful for.
Thank you for everything, even the times we snap at one another occasionally. College would not be the same without you, and without living with you, and the memories we have made together will always be ones I hold dear.
I cannot wait for the rest of this semester we have left, to continue to make stories to tell for years and years to come.
Love you forever,
Your Roomie
