To My Big Faith

My life would be so dull without you in it!!!!

To My Big Faith

Okay, so for those of you that don't know, yes I am in a sorority and yes I FREAKING LOVE it. Aside from that, my sorority has probably brought me three of the greatest things in my life: my friends, my pham, and my big. Not to be sappy or anything but to be honest, my life would be so freaking dull without my big, Faith.

If you don't know who she is, then you're doing your life wrong. She is the most sweetest, down to earth, smart, beautiful and funniest person I know. She is always there for me when I need her and for others too. So here's to you Faith:

What's up my dude,

I love you so much and I can't wait to make so many more memories with you! I know for a fact that you are going to kick butt in France and you're going to have such an amazing time. Trust me I know I'm going to miss you sooooo much and that means we are probably going to Skype or face time every single day!!!! You're probably going to get tired of my endless Skype's in the library but I know you'll miss our fav place. #clubaddy

You have been such an understanding person and you always help me to look at things from a different perspective (even if I don't want to). Of course we have had our obstacles but we always get through them together.

Your favorite color is yellow and to be honest I couldn't see you liking any other color. Even though I know it's hard to see, you are literally the brightest person in my life. Your smile is so radiant that even on my darkest days you always seem to make me smile.

I'm already counting down the days until you come back from France and I cant wait for you to meet your future grandchild lol. I love you so much and I already know you're going to go so far in life. I also know that our kids are probably going to be best friends lol.

Love,

your child;) xoxo

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
