You're my best friend but you're more like a sister to me than a friend. In fact, I'm pretty sure my mother loves you more than she loves me. You've been with me and stood by my side when no one else was there and you've helped me through things I never thought I would be able to recover from. You've cheered me up when I was sad and you've always answered when I've called. And when I don't call you then you call me over and over until I finally answer, no matter how early it is. You know I'm not a morning person, but you do it anyways. I may complain about it, but I'm thankful for it. There's no better friend than you.
You're beautiful and intelligent and beyond sassy. I don't think I'll ever meet someone with more sass than you. You're fun and wild and you make me laugh so hard that I cry sometimes. Your sense of humor kills me. You're sarcastic and full of stories and things to say in every situation. You know what to say when I'm angry to calm me down and you know what to say when all I want to do is cry. And when I'm upset for no reason, you're always there to tell me that I'm being an emotional idiot. You're incredible.
You've never been afraid to be straight up honest with me either, no matter how much the truth of something hurts. You tell me when I'm being stupid and when I need to quit being ridiculous and petty. When I'm interested in a boy and you know that he's no good for me, you remind me how much better I can do and then talk me up until I realize how much I'm really worth. If it wasn't for you, I would probably be dating a complete dirtbag and I wouldn't be reminded every day how great I am. Well, you're really great too.
When we go shopping, you follow me into the fitting room and tell me when something is completely unflattering on me or when something makes me look amazing. While to others who don't know us it may seem harsh, your brutal honesty is the definition of true friendship and I couldn't ask for anything better. You shop with me even when you don't have the money to. You're perfectly fine with going just to spend time with me and catch up on gossip. You share my taste in clothes and music and my love for McDonald's chicken nuggets. I'm especially grateful for that.
The world is a better place with you in it and I am so thankful that you are a part of my life and that you allow me to be a part of yours. I owe a majority of who I've become to you and your craziness. I'm proud to have you as my best friend and I can only hope that we stay friends for as long as life lets us.
