Yes, I actually do love you -- I know, it is a weird thing to grasp

To My Annoying, Stupid, Crazy Brother Whom I Love

I know what you are thinking: what on earth am I going to have to say that would be nice about you? I usually ask myself this same question - seriously. Although this can sometimes be a challenge, I still want to thank you for being the most annoying, crazy, stupid, stubborn, protective, humorous, loving brother in my life.

The day you were born -- apparently I could not get enough of you.

As I have been told, going back to the hospital to see you was inevitable. All I wanted to do was pinch your chubby little cheeks and hold you in my miniature toddler arms forever. So thank you for being so cute that I just could not get enough of you.

You have always looked up to me.

Whatever I would do, you would follow. I took advantage of this; yes, I found this rather annoying and I am sorry I made you feel like a chore to deal with at times. I never truly realized how mean I could be. So thank you for putting up with my lil 'tude and still loving me entirely (at least I hope so).

You always know how to get a rise out of me.

We have a weird relationship in that your way of saying 'I love you' would be finding any way to tweet me on Twitter or showing little to no emotion when I do something nice for you. You have always been the antagonist in the relationship, saying anything you can to try and piss me off or want to punch you in the face. Don't worry, I know it means you love me -- your standoffish ways can't fool me. Thank you for making my life a dramatic adventure and your affection towards me a mystery for me to solve; it is truly enjoyable, I swear.

You are open with me, sometimes a little too much.

I am honored to be someone you can tell personal aspects of your life to - you usually are a closed book around everyone else. You can even get a little too TMI with me... but hey, that's okay (even though I wish those words would have never come out of your mouth). I love your openness and willing to confide in your secrets with me. So thank you for sharing things with me that you normally wouldn't with anyone else. (This may be a little TMI for some other people too).

You always know how to make me laugh.

I can always count on you to make my day with an embarrassing story that happened to you earlier in the week. I love when mom calls me with the latest on how you received detention for hitting someone in the face with the sole of your shoe, or playing jump rope with your phone charger when asked to put it away. You have added so many hilarious memories that are inevitably told at every Christmas; from asking if you can bring a golf cart on campus to getting a goat for a promposal, you always know how to brighten up our lives with stories to tell. So thank you for making my life a little more interesting each and every day with your crazy ways. You have always had my back.

They younger sibling's job is usually a role of being looked out for, but because of your stubborn manner and need for leadership, you have taken on my role much more easily. Every guy that comes into my life is under investigation. You have always found the best ways to embarrass me to make sure he sticks around. You always mistrust his intentions and make sure I am setting a higher standard for myself. You are the person I go to when someone does me wrong, and there is no doubt you will back me up. You don't care what anyone thinks about you and are willing to speak your mind to support me. So thank you for being a protective figure in my life and having my best interests in mind.

At times I want to kill you, but I hope you always know that your big sister loves you no matter what. I know you love me deep down inside as well! So thank you for being my annoying, crazy, stupid, stubborn, protective, humorous, loving brother.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help.
