I hope she teaches you about everything beautiful in the universe; about everything she loves and why she loves it. I want her to show you the way her eyes light up when she talks about art and flowers. When she speaks to you about that boy she's hopelessly in love with I want you to watch her diamond eyes turn to kaleidoscopes as her lips curl into a smile.
She will show you her best and worst sides and I wish I could tell you when to expect either side of her but it will come so abrupt and leave you entirely breathless. She is a sea of wonder and her mind is a disastrous tsunami, but you will learn how to stop her from wreckage. You will help her stay calm and relaxed.
As for this, I wish I did not have to say it. She will become tired of you. She will lose interest in the photos you send her to cheer her up and will stop getting excited over the things you show her. She will focus on others more than you and will leave you hanging on the edge while she rescues someone else who wasn't hanging at all. She will get tired of your emotions and the things you love. Your closest friend will drop you harder than anyone's ever done and will feel absolutely no remorse doing so.
Do your best in everything you do and choose your best friend wisely. You have no idea who will or will not leave. Love everyone. Treat them fairly.
