The relationship between a daughter and her farther is one of the most important relationships in a girls life, that will often affect her future relationships with men. This is to all my fellow daddy's girls out in the world, we are blessed to have these men in our life. So, let us cherish our time with them and let them know that they play a bigger role in our life then they might often think.

I realized once I left for college how much of a daddy's girl that I really am. It took me moving across country and not seeing you every day, to really appreciate everything you have done for me and continue to do.

1. You have him wrapped around your finger.

You know with the simple word “Daddy,” the answer will always be "yes." But you don’t take advantage of this power, because you respect him too much for that.

2. You worry you won't meet someone like him.

When I was little I remember thinking that I didn't want to get married, because I wouldn't be able to meet someone like him. I would worry that nobody would treat me like he treats my mom and his daughters.

This is a big one! He shows you daily how you should be treated and hat you shouldn't settle for anything but great! If your dad does not like the guy you are dating, you know you need to dump the guy.

4. He encourages your dreams and will do anything to support them.

Since you were little, he would do anything for you to accomplish your dreams and see you happy. From paying for college to just buying you flowers, whatever makes you feel loved he'll do it.

5. You know you have the best dad ever.

You realize you really do have it good and couldn't ask for a better father figure. Most of the time you don't realize the gift you have in him, until you leave home and hear from others what their relationships with their fathers are like.

The best. He will always see you as that little girl, no matter how old you get.

The love shared between a father and a daughter is timeless and the bond outlasts lifetimes.
