Are you not a U.S. citizen? Because that’s really the only reason you shouldn’t be voting.
There’s absolutely no reason not to vote.
If you’re a woman…why wouldn't you?
It’s called woman suffrage. Do you know how many women fought for your right to vote? Do you know how many women wanted to vote before 1920 and couldn’t?
Take a tip from Susan B. Anthony who said, “I declare to you that woman must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself, and there I take my stand.”
No matter your gender identification, you need to vote. We need people to take advantage of this opportunity to make a difference in the future of our country.
Do you really want a president who has said this: “You know, it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”
I think not.
If you don’t vote, you don’t get the right to complain about who is in office. Don’t say you can’t deal with the candidates or the people who are in office. You didn’t do anything to prevent it.
Every vote not for a certain candidate is important.
Plus…all the cool kids are doing it. You should do it.
Go vote. Use your voice. There’s no excuse.
