In This Article:

Whether you're a mystery, Romcom, comedy or horror type of person, here's a bit of everything for you to watch next!

Criminal Minds

Giphy

*My face when I find out you don't watch Criminal Minds*

If you haven't watched Criminal Minds, you are not living. I am seriously obsessed and have been binge watching for the past month or so. I absolutely love crime related shows and this one might just be my number one.

Sex Education

Giphy

If you enjoy laughing so hard your sides hurt, then this is the show for you. It is quite inappropriate, if you could not guess so from the title, so beware if you are more on the reserved side.

Comedians like Mike Birbiglia

Netflix is a gold mine when it comes to comedy. There are seriously so many comedian documentaries or recorded shows that have seriously rocked my world. I very much recommend Mike Birbiglia if you haven't seen any of his work!

Black Mirror

Giphy

If you like having your mind blown, Black Mirror is the show for you.

I can only really watch one episode at a time because this show seriously makes you think. Hard.

Murder Mystery

Giphy

Adam Sandler is seriously one of my favorite actors of all time and Murder Mystery was absolutely hysterical.

If you're looking for a mystery /crime esq. / comedy then this is perfect for your next movie night. Hold your popcorn tight though, because you'll be laughing uncontrollably!

Lucifer

Giphy

Oh God indeed. In addition to the eye candy, Lucifer has an amazing plot that will keep you on your toes!

Do be warned, the show was cancelled after season 5. This broke my heart, but boy was it worth it!

Schitt's Creek

Giphy

Schitt's Creek is a show that I grow in and out of. I watch it in binge's here and there, but I am obsessed.

It is hilarious and makes you grateful for the little things.

Good Girl's

Giphy

Don't judge a show by its title. These girls are BADDDDD and super cool too. Definitely don't try what they do at home though kids. This comedy will keep you laughing, but also covers real life subjects and struggles that remind you just how short and hard life can be.

The Good Place

Giphy

Again, don't judge a show by its title! ;)

This show is absolutely one of my all time favorites as it covers all of the topics that keep me up at night in an existential crisis but in a way that's relatable and comprehensible.

This plot will certainly keep you on your toes and is seriously addicting!

The Office

Giphy

The Office will forever be my favorite TV show and my absolute favorite line is "Why are you the way that you are?" which is something I ask my friends quite often!

If you haven't watched The Office you are seriously missing out and you need to give it a shot because I promise you it is worth it!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Whether you're commuting or dorming, your first year of college is a huge adjustment. The transition from living with parents to being on my own was an experience I couldn't have even imagined- both a good and a bad thing. Nobody deserves to be living in poverty.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
