Recently, more and more people have been very disrespectful to our country and veterans. On their behalf, I would like to personally say I am sorry that you have to see the country you are risking your life for, courageously (may I add), being so disrespectful to you all. Whether retired, currently serving, deceased, or wounded, you all have put your lives on the line to keep us safe. On that note, I thank you for your service to this country of ours.

It is a shame that some people are not thankful enough to you or appreciate what you do to keep us safe. Some people may argue that the government is the one who keeps us safe, but it is all of you that have done or are currently putting your lives on the line for all of us. Personally, I believe that each and every one of you are true heroes.

Also, I am extremely sorry for how many veterans are living on the streets when you come home. That is absolutely horrendous. For all that you do, you should be able to have a home, no problems finding a job (if need be), etc. I strongly believe that you should receive any treatments you need.

Some people who read this article will strongly disagree with what I have stated, that you should have a home, no issues when finding a job, receiving treatment, etc. Some people who read this article will strongly agree, and some will be stuck somewhere in between the two. Everyone has the freedom of speech; which they are entitled to say what they feel about a subject. This is the exact way of how I feel, and I will say it loud and proud. This is America. “The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.” I, for one, am proud of all that you do. I will stand with you, even if I stand alone. I believe in what I believe, and I believe that this is YOUR home, just as much as any other person’s. Again, I thank all of you for your service and sacrifices that you have made to the United States of America.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
