Titanic II To Set Sail 2018

More news of the Titanic II surfaced this week and fans are ecstatic! A complete replica of the Titanic is being rebuilt by billionaire Clive Palmer and his team at the cargo company Blue Star Line and is named Titanic II. The ship was said the be ready this year, but due to some scheduling changes and minor financial setbacks, the Titanic II is now said to set sail in 2018.

The ship will sail from Jiangsu, China to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and tickets will be sold just like the first time. Passengers can choose from three different tiers of tickets just like on the original Titanic, but can also choose from different packages where multiple classes of tickets are included throughout their trip for most fulfilled experience. Different classes will include a variation of different foods and activities, along with a variety of amenities. Reports say that most people are searching for information on third class tickets because of the amenities they are said to offer.

In 1912, the original Titanic set sail in Southampton, England with plans to travel to New York, although its journey was halted in the Atlantic Ocean 400 miles south of Newfoundland, Canada. As we all know, the tragic story of the Titanic began when the ship hit an iceberg and began to fill with water and eventually sank.

Because of this, the path to be taken is one where Titanic II will not encounter icebergs on its path this time. To ease your mind, though, extra precautionary measures and evacuation plans are being put into place and more lifeboats will be aboard this ship this time on a whole added "safety deck." Although the external area of the ship will be a complete replica, down under, the ship will be powered by modern-day vessels and updated diesel drivers.

This time around, Titanic II will offer 840 cabins and will have room for 2,435 passengers and 900 crew members. The ship will be 833 feet long, which is three inches longer than the original, and 13.9 feet wider for safety measures. Different amenities such as casinos, shops, a hospital, and a 400 person theater will be added to the Titanic II, along with many different modern twists. Despite this, most of the ship will still capture the original essence of the Titanic, even down to the smallest details, as the main goal for Titanic II is to be as similar to the original ship as possible.

Although a price to board the estimated $500 million Titanic II has not been stated yet this early, offers up to nearly $1 million dollars per passenger have been announced already.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
