Trust me. I am right there with you. Spring break is done, the end of the year is close, and the school assignments are never-ending. The time change is making everything ten times harder, and all I want to do is sunbathe and binge-watch Russian Doll on Netflix. So how do I stay motivated and awake when coffee no longer works? Here's what I've found to help:

1. Drink water.

People say it all the time, but it seriously does help! Try drinking water when you're starting to feel sleepy or tired. It helps fight off that sleepy feeling and also helps you stay hydrated throughout the day (which could be a reason why you're tired). If it doesn't work, it at least gives you the excuse to get out of your seat, stretch, and walk to the bathroom which can help wake you up.

2. Exercise.

Exercising can help circulate blood in your body which will help wake you up and it also increases endorphins which can help put you in a better mood! Plus moving around and energizing your body can give you a new sense of purpose which can change up your regular routine.

3. Wash Your Face.

Splashing some cold water on your face and moisturizing your skin can really make a difference on how the rest of your day will go. It's a great way to get a jolt of energy and it can make you feel more fresh and rejuvenated after a long day.

4. Hang In There.

It's extremely difficult to try and stay focused and awake for the rest of spring when summer is right around the corner. Just hold tight and know that relaxing vibes are on the way. You're almost at the finish line. Finish strong and whatever you do, don't give in to procrastination. You got this!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
