We all have different eye shapes. They vary from the standard eye, hooded eye, monolid, and etc. However, there are also different types of shapes within those eye shapes.

In this article, here are some tips and tricks for all types of monolids.

1. Start with your eyes before anything else.

This is especially if you are using eye-shadows that have a powdery texture. In order to clean it up, it is best to do it before you apply your foundation/face makeup overall.

2. Prime your eyelids.

Because of the lack of space in your eyelid, it is much more likely that your eye makeup will smudge. To prevent this, use a primer to prime your eyes before applying eyeshadow. If you do not have any, use concealer.

3. Concealer is your best friend

Concealer is the eraser of all makeup. If you mess up while applying your makeup, use concealer. Concealer is also important especially for monolid people whose makeup tends to smudge easily.

4. If concealer is your best friend, mascara and eyelash curlers are your soulmate.

It may or may not be an exaggeration that mascara has changed my life. It opens the eyes up, and makes your eyes pop. If your eyelashes are short, then you can always opt for false eyelashes.

5. Contrary to popular belief, too much eyeliner can often shrink the eyes making the illusion of having smaller eyes.

Because most of your eyelid is covered in a dark brown or black color, it may almost do the opposite effect of what you are going for.

6. For a more natural look, use black eyeshadow on an eyeliner brush to line your eyes.

Sometimes, pencil/gel/liquid eyeliners can seem overbearing. If you want to attempt a tight-line or natural eyeliner look, try a black eyeshadow.

7. When applying eyeliner and mascara, focus on the tail end of your eyes.

8. Sometimes a bold lip and a more natural eye shape is a good look.

Often times, us monolids tend to focus more on our eye makeup and less on our lips. A good way to draw less attention from our eyes and more towards our lips is to have a natural eye makeup and a strong, bold lip.

9. Don't overdose on the glittery or shimmery shadows.

It is fine to apply a little bit of shimmer, but too much glitter can often lead to the eyes appearing smaller than they already are.

10. Opt for matte shades instead.

Because the light catches the shimmer, it gives the illusion of your eyes being smaller, while matte shades give the illusion of shadows and depth on the eye.

11. Don't try changing your eye shape rather embrace what you already have

Instead of trying to change the shape of your eye, embrace what you already have. Every eye-shape is beautiful, and you should learn to work with them as time goes by.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
