Tips To Be A Healthier Person!

There is nothing wrong with finding simple ways to live a healthier lifestyle.

1. Eat Healthy

Eating Healthy is super important! And it is not even that hard! You have to change the way you cook things, like baking instead of frying something. It could be something as simple as that. Another thing you can do is cook with coconut oil instead of butter. Even just eat a salad before dinner is a great and simple way to be healthier. This is actually really good because eating a salad before dinner fills you up a little, which mean you will eat less dinner. So instead of huge portions or going back for seconds, you will be full after one normal sized portion. Another way is to just have some fruit or vegetables a day. even if it is just a handful. Lastly, a great way to eat healthy is to cut nothing out of your normal diet. Just change your portion sizes. Take smaller ones over big ones, and just snack a lot throughout the day and eat smaller portions at meal times.

2. Do not skip meals

I know, skipping a meal sounds like a good idea to maybe lose weight or to just feel like you ate less that day. But it really is not a good idea. I should know, because I do it all the time and have done it many times in the past. It is really just hurting you in the end. If you do it enough it will mess with your body and will hurt you. When your body gets hungry for too long, it will get the fat that it has stored. If it goes through that it will start eating away at your muscles. If that happens then you will be far away from being healthy. At most just make your meal portions smaller, but DO NOT skip a meal. It will just be a regret in the end.

3. Water

Drink lots of water. This is so important. Water helps flush out all the bad bacteria in your body. Yes, you will have to use the bathroom a lot, but it is so worth it. You feel better when you are always hydrated and you feel refreshed. And it is so important to try and drink 2 liters a day! Once you get into the routine of it, I promise it does not seem all that bad. And most of the time I drink flavored water and it does not even seem bad. It is almost like drinking juice all day. This is so easy and so important to a healthier lifestyle.

4. Exercise

Any single form of exercise is great and important. Anything from simply going for a walk for 15 minutes everyday to going to the gym 3 or more times a week. You do not have to go all-out or out of the way to exercise. Just walking around your house, or maybe buying an exercise bike and going on that 15 minutes a day can do so much. No one is telling you that you have to go the gym or even spend money. But going to gym or joining classes is another fun way to be healthy especially if you do it with friends. This is just a simple way to stay healthy and moving!

5. Apps and Trackers

There are so many apps and trackers that could help you along the journey of having a healthier lifestyle. There are water apps such as "Daily Water Free", "Waterlogged", and "hydrate". This are all free and great ways to track what you drink throughout the day and how much you drink. Then there are fitness and health apps such as "calorie counter & diet tracker", "Fitlist", and "Runtastic Gps". These can help you track your exercise and your food/calories throughout the day. They are also all free! As far as trackers go, you have that already on your phone if you have an iPhone. It is all in the health app that comes on the phone. I personally would recommend investing in a Fitbit. I love it and i love that it all tracks on my app on my phone along with being app to see it on the device itself. It tracks my steps, activity, constant activity, water, food, weight, and sleep. And other kinds can do more or less. But it is a good way to keep track of your health!
