By now, any "Gilmore Girls" fan is aware that the long-awaited revival is next week (Friday, November 25 at 12AM, but who's keeping track?). I have seen tons of lists describing foods to eat for the revival and episodes to watch for the revival, and it is amazing how dedicated this fandom is.
While I love all the articles describing different foods to be eaten during the revival, I also get that many people will be traveling for Thanksgiving and cannot just get burgers or Chinese food at midnight.
So, below are some ideas in general, from food to outfits and more, for "Gilmore Girls" fans to celebrate the revival with while on the go:
1. Mallomars
Throughout everything, this show focuses on Rory and Lorelai's bond, whether it be through watching tv, fighting, talking or eating together. In one amazing episode, Rory goes all out for Lorelai's birthday with her favorite foods, from Mallomars to pizza. You, too, could recreate an epic lettering with Mallomars, or just snack while you watch.
2. Potato chips/Doritos/Cheetos/Popcorn/etc.
Our Gilmores love their greasy snack foods, especially for movie nights. Whether it be for grilling new boyfriends or old boyfriends, or just simply relaxing with food, it is clear that savory, greasy snack food is crucial.
3. Flannels
Not only are flannels comfortable, but they are Luke's signature outfit. While you, unfortunately, can't watch with Luke beside you, I'd say the next best thing is tuning into your inner Luke Danes with a comfy flannel as you binge-watch.
4. Someone to watch with
If you can, one of the best parts of "Gilmore Girls" is having someone in it with you to laugh and cry and question Kirk's behaviors with. Whatever you do, it will just be fun to get back to the amazing place that is Stars Hollow, but having someone with you will make it all the more fun.
So let's do this, "Gilmore Girls" fans! Only a few more days, and just remember:
It's not crazy to be obsessed!
