Tips to make your Disney Trip more magical

It's summer and one of the best spots for vacation among everyone is Walt Disney World. The place where dreams come true and where all problems seem to go away. Looking for a way to make your trip even more magical? Here are some tips:

1. Always have a times guide and a map- The best way to help you travel around Disney World more efficiently is having a map and times guide. They are available at the front of the parks and at most merchandise locations. They can tell you the times the rides are open as well as character meet and greet hours.

2. Plan out what you want to do- A simple plan that works out in the long run. Choose what park you're going to do that day and write down what you plan on doing. Try to keep the rides and shows you want to do in the same area. You don’t want to be walking from one side of the park to the other back and forth all day.

3. Arrive at least 30-45 before a parade- Festival of Fantasy at Magic Kingdom is always popular amongst park goers. That means crowds all over the route. In order to get that nice shaded spot or a place to sit down, arrive early to get that spot.

4. Pace yourself- Another one, which people really don’t realize, is the amount of walking you do. Animal Kingdom and Epcot are some of the larger parks that do require a lot of walking. Take advantage of the attractions that are indoors and the shows, as it will give you time to recharge and cool down.

5. Make Fast Pass+ reservations- The best way to get the most out of your trip is to use fast pass, a free service that gives you and your party a way to enjoy a shorter wait time for the attraction. When you make your fast passes, you get 3 choices. After using the three fast passes, you get an additional one. If you have any questions with how to modify your selection or to make more go to any Guest Relations or Fast pass+ kiosk in the parks.

6. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask any Cast Members- Disney World cast members are here for you. Any questions you have we will be happy to answer. We want your vacation to be magical and will help make sure it lives up to the expectations you have.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
