With summer coming to an end and the fall approaching, so many things are starting. Back to school, end of summer vacations, and other things like that. One thing you do when going into the fall is get back on a schedule. With that, I have decided to give some tips on productivity to help with that. Keep reading for the tips below

1. The first tip is in the morning, do some form of exercise. Whether you do a full-on workout at the gym or do yoga right by your bed, doing some form of exercise makes your blood start moving and gets your body energized to start the day!

2. The next thing is write everything down. This means all your responsibilities whether that be work, homework, activities, parties. Whatever it may be, put it in a notebook or planner or something that way it is visual and you can come back to it for future reference.

3. The next tip is to tackle one thing at a time. Part of being productive is learning how to manage your time, which is very important. Make sure you are doing one thing at a time, so it is being done being to the best of your ability. If you try to do to many things at once, you are bound to not do your best on one of them.

4. The last tip is to drink ALOT of water. Water keeps you hydrated and hydration keeps your body feeling its best. Being dehydrated can cause your body to be weak and that will not help with being productive. Drink lot of water and your body will be set.

These are only four tips, but they in my opinion, are the most important. You don't want to start of this new season and time of year with being stressed or not doing everything you need to do. Try one, two, or all of these things out and I promise you will see how things start to flow more smoothly and your productive side will be shining!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
