Drawing may be one of the most fun hobbies to have but it may also be a difficult one. Although starting out to draw may become hard for those who have never draw before, it becomes very easy once one has started. I have started off in this similar situation. Then, I find myself drawing a lot more after I give myself some helpful tips. Here are three helpful tips for those who are beginners at drawing:
1. Look at the art that influences you to draw
There has to be a reason that one has decided that they want to draw. In other words, the inspiration that makes one want to draw. For me, the things that inspire me to draw are Disney, Disney's Pixar, Studio Ghibli, fantasy and anime. Try looking at their works to get the inspiration of drawing or start thinking creatively on what to draw. This also gets one to become motivated to draw.
2. Let your creative mind be free
One of the most difficult parts when drawing is actually the process of drawing. Sometimes I let myself be limited to drawings that are shown in animated films or TV series and this makes it very hard to continue or finish a drawing. Let your creative mind be free. One should also draw in a place that you are most comfortable drawing out your imagination and creative mind on paper. Be very open-minded and one may also find out more things to inspire one to draw.
3. Embrace the hobby of drawing
The struggle that I have to go through is embracing and accepting my love for drawing. For me, I love drawing but there are times that I get discouraged by people who keep telling me to do something other than drawing. The best advice is just to ignore them and express your love to draw by just drawing. Do not let others stop you from drawing. Drawing is an amazing and rare talent to have and not many can do this talent nor keep this talent or skill for a very long time. Work hard and show the others that drawing is one of the greatest talents and skills to have.
