4 Tips For Buying A Car

Buying a car is a big deal, especially when its your first. I just purchased my very own car, and while it is so exciting, this experience gave me a LOT of anxiety. Not only was I just about to purchase a new car and deplete all my funds that I've saved up for three years, but I had to make the perfect decision considering I will hopefully have this for ten years or so. Here are some tips to help you with your car buying experience.

1. Look around.

Don't just go to one dealer and pick a car. Shop around. Most dealers not only have different color options but this serves as a good negotiating tactic. By finding out prices around the area you can negotiate with the dealer a price that you deem fair.

2. Get all-weather mats.

I didn't think these were important but apparently they are. Luckily mine were thrown in for free after some serious begging.

3. Get a car with good AC.

This is by far the most important thing for me. I hate the summer, so making sure that my car has ice cold AC is hands down the most important thing on my list of what I want in a car.

4. Check out the safety features!

I wasn't expecting my car to have lane assist and other safety features but I am so glad they do! My parents feel a lot safer knowing that my car will alert me to drifting versus me finding out in a dangerous way!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
