Any girl who has a Tinder account has encountered the infamous guys with books full of pickup lines to dish to unfortunate matches. You know that moment when you see a hot guy on Tinder, swipe right, match and think everything is just lit as hell until he hits you with a sleazy one-liner? Yeah, it's gross. Even if you are on Tinder just looking for a hookup (you do you girl, but be safe), nobody likes these. They're cheesy, and while some may make me laugh, I just can't take these guys seriously. Here are some of the best/worst pickup lines I've received, and my advice on how to respond if you, too, become a victim:

1. David, who tried his hardest, but still came off as creepy:

Now, this guy accomplished his goal of standing out, and I was flattered, but it was still mildly creepy. If you get one of these, I suggest either steering the conversation in a different direction or just screenshotting and unmatching. Whatever floats your boat.

2. Matt, who thinks he's super clever:

Just don't respond unless you dig guys who probably eat plain oatmeal for breakfast.

3. Dalton, who clearly hasn't researched pickup lines since his birth:

My suggestion with a situation like this would be to say something along the lines of, "Yo, try again. That one sucked."

4. Brenden, who was just trying to make himself look bad:

A great response to this one would probably be a jab at the "few inches" remark. You could really start a great roasting session here.

5. Xavier, who has a lot of time on his hands:

I mean, if cloning is your thing, go for it. Honestly, I'm gonna say that Xavier was actually pretty smooth with this one. I mean I'm the type that needs someone to worship me, so this is right up my alley.

6. Peter, who does hard drugs in his free time:

The proper response to this is a great big "HELL YEAH." Why not? Everyone loves garlic bread. I mean obviously don't talk to this guy if he continues to be weird, but garlic bread? Come on.

7. Last, but certainly not least, my favorite of the bunch is Nicholas, who really knows how to reel in a lady:

Honestly, if you find this guy, capture him and keep him.

It's lit.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
