Dear Tinder Guys

In This Article:

1. Do not use pictures from years ago. We WILL creep and see that, that was your only good picture in the past 4 years.

2. Do not wear sunglasses in all your pics, once we see your eyes. You look like a different person. 😳

3. Do not post pics with another provocative girl, it's just unattractive and shows us what we have to look forward too.

4. Do not post pics with multiple hot guys. Once we realize it's cause you are the ugly friend, it's end game.

5. Do not use dogs (or other animals) as your cover photo. Every girl knows when they see a dog first, it was because you don't consider yourself attractive enough to use your own photo to reel a girl in. If I was in the market for a new pet, I would have gone to the pet store...

6. Stop posting pictures with little children that are your relatives just to post in your bio "not my kid". We don't need to see you "like kids". We can find that out on our own.

7. If you only show the back of your head or only slight 'side face' shots from super far away, we are gonna assume the worst. TRY HARDER.

8. Quit posting up close pics of just you and a female. We are tired of having to decipher if it's your sister or your ex girlfriend.

9. As if the sunglasses thing wasn't enough, we have to deal with hats also. Fellas, take off the hats! We need to see what your hair looks like and if you even have any.. are you trying to hide a receding hair line??

10. Lastly can we please address the guys that feel the need to add 0 pictures of themselves.. Do you really expect a girl to swipe right on your non-existent avatar photo or a photo of a meme that we don't even find remotely funny?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
