For those of you that have watched Bob's Burgers before, you know who the notorious Tina Belcher is. If you haven't, Tina is the oldest of the three Belcher children. She is a gawky, sexually frustrated hopeless romantic who in many cases, is extremely relatable. College can be a tough time for just about everyone and Tina knows just the right way to explain it.

1. Waking Up For Early Morning Classes

8 A.M. and 9 A.M. classes are almost impossible to wake up and find motivation to get out of bed. It's even worse when an 11 A.M. class is still almost too early.

2. Constantly Being On The Verge Of Becoming A Stripper To Pay For College

Let's be real, college is expensive. We've all thought about how much money we could make stripping and honestly, it's quite appealing.

3. When someone sits in your unassigned-assigned seat

I don't care if we don't have assigned seats, if I've been sitting in the same place for the whole semester, do not sit there. I've claimed it and I am not afraid to kick you out no matter how petty it may sound.

4. Downing as much coffee as possible so you can stay awake during class

When it's early and you have a full day of classes ahead of you, coffee and energy drinks are the way to go. I'll probably have a heart attack by the age of 30, but hey, at least I made it through class without falling asleep.

5. Being completely awkward when trying to make new friends

It is extremely difficult to make friends, especially in college. It would be nice if everyone could be as friendly as Tina, but unfortunately that's not the case in most situations.

6. Finding out the attractive person in your class has a boyfriend/girlfriend

You've been eye stalking that cute soccer playing that sits in the seat across the room for weeks now. Eye contact and smiles have even been made and you think you're in the clear. You take your creeping skills to the next level and find their Facebook and see that they're in a relationship. Worst feeling ever.

7. Going from winter to summer and realizing you should probably shave

After the winter hibernation period ends and the disgustingly hot summer begins, its time for the shorts and tank tops to come out. Some people may have no problem with keeping the winter fur on, but for others that unfortunately means it's time to shed that extra layer of fur.

8. Finally being able to lay in your bed after a long day of classes

There is no better feeling than taking your shoes off (and pants) and laying down in bed after a day full of classes. Even the hardest dorm mattress can feel like heaven when you're completely exhausted from walking building to building and hand cramping all day long.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

1. People assume you are mad all of the time.

2. Ten out of ten times you will give off an intimidating impression to others.

3. People do not acknowledge your feelings because you "do not have any."

4. Constantly being exhausted from trying to smile and not look like a witch.

5. And on the rare occasion your facial expressions show how happy you are, your friends think you are going crazy.

6. Each of your friends has said "I thought you were so mean when I first met you" at some point.

7. Then they follow that by saying "you are just hard to read."

8. So naturally if people do not know you they just assume you are a snob.

9. And when you are actually mad, your facial expressions are horrifying.

10. In the end you always look like you are judging people, when in reality people are ALWAYS judging you.

This week, my parents went on vacation and left me with the responsibility of watching the house and the dog. Easy, right? Feed the dog, don’t burn the house down, do whatever you want within reason. I’m not the type to throw wild parties or have a parade of hookups, and my parents know this. The most I do is bring my laptop into the family room and refuse to use headphones.
