When your with the boys anything and everything can become a good time. Some nights can be extremely chill, but they can also be extremely rowdy. What pushes these scenes can be a variety of factors that are produced by each individual in the group. When it comes to my friend group, there never isn't a hype person. All my boys come ready to have a good time and it takes absolutely nothing to get us to go nuts.
Now you may ask "What do you mean by a good time?" and "What's hype?". A good time is an individual interpretation that one builds over time by using their preferences. A hype is an intense or extremely exciting feeling in someone. What develops a hype all depends on your personal preferences but also what makes you excited. Overall a hype is a hype, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand it.
My friends get hype over the more simplistic, non-monumental things rather than something out of the ordinary. For example, we all have undying love for rap star Fetty Wap and his group Zoo Gang. Whenever he comes on the radio whoever we're with goes wild and starts reciting the lyrics like the Preamble to the United States Constitution. One time we went out to eat and someone got a bill of $17.38, the famous number that Fetty Wap says throughout everything he does. I kid you not as soon as they saw that it signaled them to start chanting lyrics and yell "1738, yeahhhhh baby!!". I wouldn't be surprised if people thought we were mentally insane for the way a number can create such nonsense. To add on, throwing away small things like a water bottle or a paper ball become the buzzer beating three pointer that wins game 7 of the NBA championship. If you drain the shot you're now a hero, but if you miss, you're now scrutinized and shunned of shooting again. There is no redemption for such an act.
Honestly, the fact that we can get get hype off of our moms making us breakfast when we spend the night somewhere is awesome. It makes everything so much more entertaining and enjoyable. Sure to some it seems immature or dumb, but hey we're having fun right? That's all that matters. I wouldn't trade my friends for the world.
