We all have good intentions when it comes to being on top of school work. However, those intentions are not always met with actions. Here are some things that take my good intentions away.
1. Friends
I love having friends. I get very sad with no friends. And that's normal, we are social creatures! However, despite my good intentions to get started on my homework in a timely fashion, whenever I find the opportunity to strike up a convo with a friend, I take it! I love people more than books sometimes (aka lots of the time).
2. Being "productive" by doing things that are very irrelevant
Me: Oops it is 10 p.m. and I have not started studying for my chem test.
Also me: It's ok, at least now my entire closet is organized by color.
3. Instagram
Instagram is a black hole when it comes to time. I plan on just checking my newsfeed, but next thing I know I am looking at a picture from December 2010 of a puppy account.
4. Speaking of which, puppies!
Whether it is Snapchat stories of cute puppies or just googling puppies, this is a legit problem. I want a dog, but I also cannot take care of my own workload, much less another living and breathing organism.
5. Planning how to be productive
I spend more time writing in my planner all the things I need to get done, than actually getting them done. It's just satisfying to write things down and color coordinate my life.
