Every once in a while, a show comes around that you can connect with more than any other. You want to be friends with the characters. You want to live their lives. You laugh with them. You feel emotional with them. No, I am not talking about "Game of Thrones." I think there may be a few issues if you watch that and say, "Yup, that's me."

For me, that show is "The Big Bang Theory." I may not be working towards becoming a physicist, an engineer, or a neurobiologist, but that does not mean I do not understand where Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, Howard, Amy, Bernadette, and Penny are coming from. Having just finished season nine, I have found that there are several moments in the show that one can relate to experience that most college students have probably had during their adventurous four years.

The excitement when animals come to campus

Seeing a guy try facial hair when he really should not have facial hair

"Let's go dancing!"

The dreaded lock-out

When most people in the class failed an open-note exam

Frustratingly sick when you have class and work to do

"Smile for your ID!"

"Are you ready for your exam today?"

When the professor writes, "Well done!" on your paper

When your are desperate to receive mail

When you never left your bed because you were watching movies all day

"You know you were supposed to email your paper and not print it, right?"

"There is no way you can finish that in time."

Meeting your professor for the first time

When group members don't pull their weight

Showing up to class in your Halloween costume

When someone complains that they have a million better things to do

What happens when you have your morning coffee

When you don't think you were productive enough

Coming back from summer vacation and the people you thought you knew changed their personalities and looks drastically

When you learn an interesting fact and say it all the time to sound intelligent

Waking up disoriented when a fire alarm goes off

Did any of these moments relate to you? Can you think of any more experiences "The Big Bang Theory" connects to? Let me know!
