Over this election cycle there has been so much drama surrounding the candidates and their followers. It seems like I can't go a day without seeing that a Hillary supporter did this or Trump said that. And in all honesty, I'm sick of it. Enough is enough America! Grow the hell up!

We've literally picked two of the most childish people to run for President. PRESIDENT. In case you don't understand how important this is, the chosen person gets to RUN AMERICA FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS. And yet we have chosen a woman with a shady past under FBI investigation, and a man who does not have a filter and then lies about what he did or didn't say. Are you kidding me?

The supporters of each candidate are no better. I won't say that all of them act this way, because they don't, but so many of them pick fights. Just a few days ago Hillary supporters were recorded harassing a homeless woman as she defended Trump's Hollywood star from further vandalism. I don't care who you are, vandalism is wrong and so is harassing the homeless, or anyone for that matter.

When did we stop being a country that stood up for what was right? When did we start pointing fingers like fiver-year-olds? When did it become unacceptable to be friends with someone that holds a different opinion than you?

"Surround yourself with smart, dedicated people - to build something isn't a one-man show. It's more important to have smart people who really believe in what you're doing than really experienced people who may not share your dream." Niklas Zennström, former CEO of Skype.

When did we basically become toddlers, incapable of holding our own beliefs without hate or violence? It's time to grow America. Because at this very moment, I'm disappointed and embarrassed. We can be better than this. I know we can.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
