'Til Morning' - The Perfect Summer Read
Cameron Ford

If you're looking for a great summer read to tug at your heartstrings, look no further than 'Til Morning by Abigayle Knight.

I read this book cover to cover in a matter of a few days by the pool, and my mom read it in one day on the beach. It's a quick read and a great story.

I don't want to spoil the story for you, but it's a wonderful, Christian-based book and a powerful response to how we as Christians should respond to lose in our lives. The story focuses on Jack, who is a college-aged young man who could be facing the loss of his true love, Emma.

It's obvious how much Jack loves Emma, and as the story goes on you learn that he would literally do anything for her. It really is such a beautiful story of true love.

The book really places emphasis on focusing on the positives in life and the importance of truly seeing the glass "half full." Another very important theme in the story that we all need is the power of moving on.

Moving on after a tough life event or the loss of a loved one is definitely not always easy, but it's necessary and only makes us grow and allows us to turn back and help others.

In 'Til Morning, Jack is absolutely hurting and at times doubts God, but eventually he puts his trust back in the Lord and is able to move on, still while keeping his lost loved one in his heart.

This book really spoke to me as it focused on moving on after the loss of a loved one. I recently lost my grandfather, and I miss him deeply and think about him, but I also know that he is healthy now and in a better place. I can still go on with my life and keep him in my heart at the same time.

'Til Morning really helped me focus on that, as well as that we can keep the spirit of our lost loved ones alive, even after they have passed. The book is really a perfect example of how Christians should respond to lose in their lives. It's perfectly fine to have your time of grieving, and that's very important and very healthy, but when it's all said and done, you have to grow as an individual and as a Christian, and use your difficult experience to help others.

I highly recommend this book, and if you're interested, you can get your own copy for a super reasonable price right here :https://www.amazon.com/Til-Morning-Abigayle-Knight...

It's an awesome read this summer or any time of the year. It's a story you can always come back to and read over and over again. Great job, Abigayle.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
