Before I started watching TikTok, my skin was a mess. I was breaking out on my forehead, chin, and on my cheeks, so basically everywhere. My skin was red, irritated, and just tired. After I watched some of his videos, I took a deep dive into the world of skincare and makeup TikTok's for days. After that, I went and purchased several products from Sephora to help transform my skin.
1. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. The niacinamide helps to reduce the look of blemishes and redness, and the zinc helps to balance out oil in the skin. The serum also helps to reduce the appearance of pores and congestion on the face. The product has a simple ingredient list, it includes no fragrance (which irritates skin) and no alcohol (which dries the skin), which is key to look for in skincare products. The simpler the better!
2. The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. This is a chemical exfoliant that helps to get rid of dead skin cells on your face. The solution also helps to reduce the look of blemishes and fine lines. It also is used to improve skin texture and radiance. This solution is a red mask that you leave on for ten minutes at night, and then you wake up with "brand new skin". It is alcohol free, fragrance free, and vegan. This product has worked miracles for me and has helped to clear my skin.
3. The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser. This cleanser does double the work: it removes makeup and cleanses the skin. Squalane is a plant-derived natural moisturizing factor that can also help with healing acne scars and clearing acne. This cleanser is also extremely gentle on skin and has a simple ingredient list. I have extremely sensitive skin, and this cleanser is the only one that doesn't break me out or make my skin irritated. This cleanser is alcohol, oil, and silicone free.
4. LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask. For so long, my lips have been constantly chapped and dry, no matter what lip balm I tried. Once I found this lip mask, I will never go back. The lip mask is a balm like consistency enriched with vitamin c and antioxidants to help moisturize lips. It also has Moisture Wrap Technology that uses hyaluronic acid to help lock in moisture overnight.
