I am here to say with a resounding yes, TIGER IS BACK! Now you might be thinking, yes Liam, he's been back for a while now; along with having a plethora of back issues. Simply in terms of net worth and career earnings (from endorsements and the course), Tiger blows away the competition, including legends of the day such as Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Trent Jones Jr., and Arnold Palmer.
In case you had any doubts to this claim, Nike, the world's largest athletic apparel maker, still emblazons the classic "TW" logo on everything from shirts to hats to golf balls to golf shoes. This is where a large portion of Tiger's income comes from; he is nearing a PNW (personal net worth of 1 BILLION)! This makes him one of the highest paid athletes in all of history, which is fairly interesting considering that golf at one point was written off as a dying sport.
In the late 90's, golf wasn't that fun to watch, until TW came on to the scene and captivated the global golf audience for many years, then, about four to five years ago amid personal sex scandal and back injuries, almost saw his career on the course slip away. However, TW would not even consider letting this happen. Even though it looked like Tiger was giving up on the game that he helped build, nothing could be further from the truth.
An impressive come back in the recent years, even by Tiger Standards, and an impressive series of recent accolades on the course will forever cement Tiger Woods as the best player in the history of golf and be a household name for decades to come.
