"I'm like so what I'm Drunk. It's the freakin' weekend. Baby I'm about to have me some fun." Echoes in the night air at least two nights out of the week on any college campus. From the playlist of your iPhone to the Frat houses, every college student enjoys the throwbacks of our time.
.) Hollaback Girl (Gwen Stefani)- "B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" The sass and strength Stefani brings to the song gives every girl that sort of power to run out onto the dance floor and say she's not THAT girl you can just run back to when things don't work out with the girl you picked over her. She's better than that.
.) Fergalicious (Fergie)- Even though it was released ten years ago, Fergalicious still draws everyone to the dance floor. The song ranges from provocative yet tasteful everything young adults want in a song, right?
.) Jenny From The Block (Jennifer Lopez)- Everyone loves J. Lo, especially in the song that we all hope to connect to one day. Jenny From The Block hit the charts as Lopez reaches out in proclamation that she will always be the girl from the Bronx and that anyone can make it.
.) Ignition (R. Kelly)- No matter where you go on campus you are destined to hear R. Kelly's hit "Ignition". From wall to wall of the frat houses everyone knows every lyric and it will be sung at the top of their lungs.
.) Low (Flo Rida)- We were all getting low in our boots with the fur in our Elementary school days and now in college things still haven't changed when this song comes on.
.) Hot In Here (Nelly)- If you've ever been inside of a fraternity house on the weekend you know that even if it's 32 degrees outside, temperatures will climb inside the rooms filled with people and dancing. Making "Hot in Here" a fit in for parties.
.) Gold Digger (Kanye West)- A hit for all guys in college. Still a favorite by everyone, Kanye West, who dropped Gold Digger called out every woman looking for a man just for his money and what he can give her. Wonder how Kim K is holding up?
.) I Love College (Asher Roth)- The theme song of weekends on a college campus. The hit by Asher Roth summarizes what many students hope to get out of the college experience. Pizza a dollar a slice and partying with your good friends. That's all you need, right?
