The 15 Best Throwback Disney Channel Songs You Probably Forgot About
Disney Channel

Wouldn't the world be a better place if we could all just hop back into our infamous Disney Channel days?

These were the days where our lives were surrounded with a lack of worries, a love for the Sprouse twins, and a time where we appreciated regularly scheduled programming.

While the TV shows were phenomenal, we can't forget about the life-changing BOPS. Our worlds were forever changed with the first High School Musical soundtrack and with "Best of Both Worlds" by our queen Hannah. In attempts to celebrate Wayback Wednesday in the most enthusiastic way possible, here are some more iconically forgotten tunes of our treasured childhood.

TTYLXOX (from "Shake It Up")

Cece completely rocked our socks off with this catchy, tongue-twisting melody. She gave us one of the most iconic best friend anthems of all time and taught us an appropriate way to use texting lingo. Props to Bella Thorne for doing THAT.

Starstruck (from "Starstruck")

Christopher Wilde was my Disney Channel boyfriend back in the day. He was the man, myth, and legend. Not to mention, the entire Starstruck soundtrack had us all quaking in our boots way back when. Thank you for making our fanfiction dreams come true, Christopher Wilde.

Somebody (from "Lemonade Mouth")

While most of the hype around this movie was centered around "Determinate", this song, in my opinion, was ten times better, deeper and really highlighted the true talent behind Bridgit Mendler's voice. This is a song you might literally find on my playlist at this moment. No joke.

So Far So Great (from "Sonny With a Chance")

"Sonny With a Chance" is one of those shows we all stored in the back of our brains after the year 2012 hit. Something will always truly cherish, but can't seem to really remember for some unknown reason. I think it's because Camp Rock clouded our brains along with Demi and Joe's downhill relationship that happened behind the scenes. However, here's a flashback to help you recall those memories.

Push It To The Limit (from "Jump In")

I'm gonna be honest, I have no recollection of this movie besides seeing Keke Palmer jump-rope a couple of times. All I can remember of the Jump In days is this Corbin Bleu song and, for some reason, chocolate milk. If you have a better memory and can remember Chad before he was Chad, please enjoy.

I Don't Dance (from "High School Musical 2")

Baseball is my favorite sport and I'm not going to lie and say this song didn't have any part in that decision. I guess an adolescent me decided if theatre-obsessed, anti-athletic Ryan can hit the ball out of the park, I can too. Essentially, this song is a way of slashing down gender stereotypes while simultaneously saying that anything is possible.

He Could Be The One (from "Hannah Montana")

If you know this song, but you don't remember the episode it came from, I'm here to remind you that this is the love-triangle anthem. Sadly, Miley chose Jake at first and that was mistake numero uno, but I'm pretty sure the whole love-triangle fiasco just originated from this song. I don't care what anyone says because in my mind, Hannah Montana did it first.

Too Cool (from "Camp Rock")

Everyone always hypes up Mitchie for her solo performance, but Tess was the real woman. She was the overlooked queen of this movie and this song is truly for the cool kids. Echosmith's "Cool Kids" represents me wishing I was Tess because of her super cool persona and awesome clothing style.

Everyday (from "High School Musical 2")

HSM 3

The end of High School Musical 2 (the part before the pool party) is heart-wrenching as the entire cast joins hands and Troyella reunite. Yet another anthem which brings communities of people together and unites them among their differences. People of my generation, do not forget this song in your lifetime. It's too important to forget.

Gitchee Gitchee Goo (from "Phineas and Ferb")

Even Dr. Doofenshmirtz would head-bop to this one considering there is no better Phineas and Ferb song. Not even Candace's squirrels-in-her-pants can compete with the heat Isabella brings in this record.

Fearless (from "Girl vs. Monster")

"Had Me @ Hello" is great and all, but the tears fall down my face at the sound of "Fearless". I don't know if it's because of Luke Benward's beautiful face or because of the cool, scary monsters, but this is my favorite Disney movie ever. It's more for the 2000's kids, but it was a socially acceptable scary movie for kids with an amazing soundtrack.

Hang in There Baby (theme from "Good Luck Charlie")

For a theme song, I assure you if I played this in a crowd of people, more than half of us would know the words. It defines our youth as we reminisce on the joys of Teddy, Gabe, PJ, Charlie, and that random baby they added in the end.

L.A. Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of) (from "Jonas L.A.")

This one goes out to my Jonas Brother fanatics because if you binged this quality show like I did, then you know this song is truly underrated. My boys really outdid themselves with this classic jam and you need to be reminded that "Sucker" is not the only banger out there.

More Than A Band (from "Lemonade Mouth")

There's no I in team and Lemonade Mouth makes sure you know it. The best work is teamwork and that's why this bop should be played at any competition or athletic game. Remind us who we are, LM.

A la Nanita Nana (from "The Cheetah Girls 2")

A true bedtime bop. A lullaby for the Bratz doll baddies. The Spanish serenade made for the elite. This song was made for us women with attitude and it still stands as one of the only songs I'll listen to when I'm feeling both sad and powerful.

After years and years of watching Disney Channel, many songs have slipped by us and many movies have been underappreciated. While you're lying in bed trying to remember the collection of childhood memories you've forgotten, do yourself a favor and become educated on the entertainment Disney Channel has previously provided us. It's too valuable to forget.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
