As a welcome into my world of photos, here is my first photo essay, if one can even call it that. What I want to do with this piece is not only welcome you into a long chain of photograph collections, but into my geo-community as a whole. This is exactly what I hope to accomplish with my pictures. For my first post, it only feels right to give credit to the wonderful group of writers who helped me start all of this.
Odyssey brought all of us together, and with this group of writers, I have really found it enjoyable to express myself through visuals and words. The picture featured above is one that I thought captured our group quite well. It can now be found on the University of Michigan Dearborn Odyssey page as the profile picture.
As for another photo that I believed captured us very well was the photo of the library. I saw it as a representation of the knowledge that we are sharing with the world through our articles. It can be found on our homepage as the cover photo.
So far, I have really enjoyed sharing my thoughts through articles and lists, but I am even more excited to show my world from the lens of a camera.
In honor of the fall season coming into full swing, most of my photos will capture the change from green, to reds, yellows, and oranges, to the snow covered ground. Until next time!
