The most simple tasks that can change your skin dramatically.

1. Beauty Sleep.

Sleep is the best and easiest way to rejuvenate your skin. There is a reason why it is called "beauty sleep." Eight hours should be the minimum amount of sleep that you get at night because sleep heals the mind and the body. I don't know a single person that doesn't like to sleep, but realizing that it benefits you makes it somewhat even better. Turning off you mind, and letting your body do it's work allows your skin to be refreshed.

2. Water.

Lot and lots of water. Drinking at least eight cups of water a day allows your body to flush out the bad toxins in your body and can clear the skin and make it more firm. Being hydrated on the inside allows the skin to be hydrated which will show on the outside. I notice that if I don't drink a lot of water one day and am dehydrated it will show on my skin the next day. I will look more tired and I will most likely have a new zit. Water removes those toxins that creates pimples. So drink up and clear your body and skin.

3. Cleanse and Moisturize.

Washing your face twice daily will also help remove the toxins in your face specifically. Finding a good face wash doesn't have to be expensive either. I personally love the Mario Badescu products and they are priced fairly well. They also have products for all skin types. Moisturizing hydrates the skin as well. Picking a moisturizer that suits your skin is the most important and also what you want to get out of your moisturizer. And never ever sleep with makeup on, it defeats the purpose of all the other beneficial things for your skin.

These three small simple tasks will allow your skin to change and become more clear, better looking, and healthier.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
