Coachella is slowly approaching and I could not be more excited! For those who don't know what Coachella is, let me tell you. It's a huge music festival where people from all over the world come to enjoy music artists' performances. Genres range from hip-hop, rock, house, electronic and so much more! I It's pretty much just a bunch of concerts happening at the same time.
Now, if you're a music junkie like myself, then Coachella is the perfect place to get your fix. Here are my reasons why everyone should go to Coachella at least once in their life.
The Experience
I believe in going on as many experiences as you can because it brings happiness. My first Coachella experience gave me a different outlook on life. This three-day event is filled with greatness. I was so happy I decided to go. Going with a huge group of friends, dressing up in different styles and jammin' out to tunes is such a fun experience. You basically jump from stage to stage and watch whoever is performing at the time in a crowd full of people. Plus, some people are lucky enough to see their favorite artists all within three days! How cool is that? It's even an event that celebrities go to and rock out.
The Vibes
If you're looking for a place with great energy and positive vibes, then Coachella is the place. This desert land is filled with the happiest people on earth that you will ever meet. Everyone is so friendly and in a good mood. The raging sun and the ferocious winds at night are the only negatives I can think of about Coachella. Everything else about it is awesome. You meet people from across the world that come to 'Chella because they have heard so many good things about it. Coachella is that place where you see people skipping and twirling around gracefully. Everyone is so carefree and I love it.
The Music
Last, but certainly not least, is the music. I think it's important to listen to different genres. Coachella really put into perspective that there are several music artists out there making their own type of music the way they want to. Now, of course there will be music that you just don't vibe with, and that's okay! The point is to try and give it a listen and if you like it, great! And if you don't, at least you can say you listened and it just wasn't something you can see yourself listening to. I look forward to always advancing my music library. I grew up listening to rap and r&b. After Coachella, I've started to love listening to electronic and vibing out to dope beats with no lyrics at all.
If what I've said has not convinced you to go, I still suggest you do! It's a nice way to make memories of a lifetime, I promise you.
