My Three Mothers Are A Constant Example Of The Kind Of Woman I Want To Be

To my Mami. My Tia. My Abuela. My three mothers whom I love so much. Thank you for always being amazing examples to me. I have three strong women in my life whom I look up to in so many ways.

My mother has always been the epitome of class and handled every situation with grace. I hope to be half the mother she has been to me and my brothers.

My aunt has a personality similar to mine. It makes me happy to think that I could be like her someday. She is fun, outgoing, and selfless.

My Abuela is the ultimate homemaker. Her cooking is amazing and she has a way about her that makes everyone feel welcome. I hope I can learn to be as giving as her.

I am still young. Still molding myself as life throws twists and turns my way and learning who I am going to become, but I will never forget the strong women who helped to shape my values over the years.

These three have given me all the love and support in the world since I was a baby and I could not be more grateful for my fearless examples.

Throughout the years I have watched you all struggle and recover beautifully. I hope to learn these skills from you, as when hard times come I don't always deal with them as well as I should.

Although no one is perfect, you are all perfect to me.

Everything I could have asked for in a mother, an aunt, and a grandmother.

Thank you for always believing in me and reminding me that I am capable of anything I put my mind to.

Thank you for showing me the kind of woman I aspire to be.

Thank you for allowing me to learn from the best.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
