Monday through Friday, I work 8 am to 5 pm and, when I get home, I have to immediately start making dinner, clean my apartment, take the dogs on a walk, etc. Therefore it's a huge struggle for me to find time to go to the gym. So, when I was getting to a point where I really wanted to start working out again, I looked up and found several workout options that are absolutely perfect for the busy person that may not have much time left for exercising. Here are the options that I found:
1. 7 Minute Workout - Free Daily Fitness Routines
This option is most definitely the quickest of the five options. As you can see, it's an app for your phone that gives you 7 minute workout options to do throughout your day when you have time. Not only do they have descriptions of the workouts you have to do, but they also have videos, which I really liked. These workouts are very flexible and customizable. You can choose the exercise durations, rest time durations, and the number of sets that you want to do. Again, this is the quickest option that I found. So, if you're extremely busy during the week but want to do some good exercises while you have a few free minutes, this might be the thing for you. Plus, it's free! Which is always nice..
2. Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred Videos
Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of a lot of home workout videos. I find most of them cheesy and not really quite as effective as I'd like them to be. However, I have yet to find a Jillian Michael's workout video that I don't like. She has a ton of workout video options that are only 30 minutes long and make you really feel the burn throughout. This series, the 30 Day Shred, is my personal favorite. There are multiple different levels and they're all 30 minute long videos. Even better, they can be found for free on youtube! Out of all of the options I'm listing in this article, this option is my favorite because of it's effectiveness.
3. Yoga With Adriene - Yoga for Weightless 40 Minute Fat Burning Yoga Workout
Yoga with Adriene is one of my all time favorite youtube channels. I've been one of her dedicated followers for a couple years at this point and, although I don't do her videos everyday like I should, I always go back to them. She has a whole range of yoga videos, from morning yoga, which is really relaxing and slow, to this weight loss workout, which is more intensive and strenuous. This one is my favorite and, seeing as it has over 4 million views, it's obviously well liked. I definitely feel the burn after I do this workout and I love it! I highly recommend you get a decent yoga mat before doing this workout though, it makes things a lot easier. My favorite aspect of this workout is that it's only 15 minutes long so it's definitely doable, even if you're going all day and only have a few minutes to spare at the end.
Enjoy!
