Disney World Attractions you should not skip out on

Welcome back to the Summer of Disney everybody. This week I look into the ride in Walt Disney World that get passed on. So take seat and get ready to see some rides that you should check out on your next visit.

1. Hall of Presidents

This attraction is a nice relaxing 23-minute show. The show talks about the history of our country and some of the presidents who led our great country. One of the most dramatic and spine chilling moments is when the audio-animatronic of Abe Lincoln stands up and says the Gettysburg Address. Towards the end of the show we see a role call of all of the 43 men who have been president. We get to hear a short speech by George Washington and by current US President Barack Obama. And last but not least Morgan Freedman narrates Hall of Presidents! If that does not convince you to see this show I don’t know what will.

2. Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room

A classic that originated in Disneyland. It found it’s way to the opening of Magic Kingdom in 1971. 4 Audio-animatronic birds, Jose, Michael, Pierre and Fritz, host the show. They start off with the catchy In the Tiki room song and also do a nice Polynesian number. If you are a die-hard Walt Disney fan see this show.

3. Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress

Originally from the 1964 worlds fair this has Walt Disney written all over it. Although it has been updated over time it still shares the same theme and it’s progress. The ride has Jean Sheppard from a Christmas Story as the narrator. Another voice actor is Mel Blanc best know as the voice of Bugs Bunny. Right off the bat with two great actors the show is great. There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow is a classic. Once you hear it, it will never leave your head.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
