Dancers make what they do look easy but I can assure you it's not as easy as it looks. If you're dedicated to it you will soon be able to make it look it easy! So let me get into the benefits that dancing can give you the very first one is showmanship/confidence. Obviously whenever you are dancing you want to perform all the time you want to look like you're having fun and always have good showmanship especially if you are a competitive dancer. Showmanship is one of the biggest things that a judge can look for. You may have made a mistake but make that mistake look good. Never stop always keep smiling and most importantly keep dancing. Do everything with confidence and don't just be confident in dance be confident in everything you do in your life especially when you go for an audition or job interview. The second benefit is strength. Do you think turning around multiple times is easy or keeping perfect straight legs on leaps is easy, if you do then you are way wrong every turn that a dancer does requires leg and core strength without that then you're not going to make it around. Dancing may look easy but trust me there are some dancers out there that could beat you in a fight. Lets move on to the third benefit, which would be friendships for a lifetime. The girls or guys you meet in your dance class are probably some of the best friends you have. Every class you learn something new about each other. They will always be there for you even when you mess up and they will always encourage you. The feeling on finishing a routine together on stage is one of the best feelings you can have. All the hard work that was put in paid off and it feels great. Dancing overall can make you a better person and lets not forget a better dancer. So next time you see a dancer don't think of him or her as a graceful harmless ballerina. That person is probably going to end up being the strongest and most confident person you'll ever meet in your life.
