I love traveling, it is one of my favorite things. Another one of my favorite things to do is pack! Most people hate it but I don't know why, it means you are going somewhere. I recently had to pack and I know I am not alone when I say these things go through your head when you pack:

1. I am going to stay so organized this time.

2. Let me plan out all of my outfits.

3. Wow, I have a lot of clothes.

4. I am going to bring what I need, and nothing else.

5. Well I guess I could bring this just in case I need it.

6. I am going to be there for five days, might as well bring 15 pair of underwear. You know, just in case.

7. I'm not even bringing tennis shoes but I'll bring three pairs of socks. I might get cold.

8. If I am bringing socks, maybe I should bring tennis shoes.

9. Oh rats, I have to bring shoes. I'm not going to have enough room.

10. Maybe I should bring a bigger suitcase.

11.Then I could totally bring more clothes.

12. No, I told myself I wasn't going to over pack.

13. Screw it! I'm bringing it all!

14. UGH! I have nothing to wear.

15. Oh wait! My floor is covered in clothes.

16. I really need to stop shopping........HAHA like that is ever going to happen.

17. What would happen if I didn't bring a razor?

18. Five days without shaving.....YIKES, I'll find room for a razor. Its small.

19. Now I have to go to Target to get travel size stuff.

20. Well since I'm getting travel stuff I may as well get candy for the plane. And gum. And Chapstick. Maybe a new book, and might as well look at clothes.

21. NO MORE CLOTHES!!

22. How much makeup do I actually need to bring?

23. I'm only going to bring twelve tubes of lip gloss, sounds reasonable.

24. I'm glam, I have to bring so much makeup! I don't even know how to scale back on that.

25. What purse am I going to bring?

26. Why did I not think of this sooner? I have to find something that will match everything that I am packing. Oh good lord, DECISIONS, DECISIONS!!

27. How heavy can my suitcase be?

28. Calls mom "How heavy can my suitcase be?"

29. I can't take anything out. I need everything that I packed.

30. Now on to the carry on.

31. If I bring a book I have to bring a back up. Its a long flight, I'll most likely finish one and want to move on to another one.

32. What am I allowed to bring.....can I bring lipgloss?

33. Calls mom again "What are the rules about bringing liquids on a plane?"

34. Good thing I just bought candy at Target, I can put it in my carry on.

35. Looks in mirror for 20 minutes trying to make sure the carry on, the suit case and the purse I chose all match. If they don't that could be real embarrassing.

36. Well now that I know I match I have to find a wallet to match everything.

37. MORE DECISIONS!!

38. Sits on floor to admire all the pretty things I own.

39. OH! I didn't even see this shirt, maybe I should have packed that too.

40. I bet I can roll it up and find room for it.

41. WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR ON THE PLANE????

42. Have to make sure it matches my carry on ;)

43. Takes a break to snap chat the progress I have made.

44. WHERE IS THE PLANE EMOJI?

45. I finally think I am done packing! Lets go travel!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
