Ah yes, the world of Disney. Its magic, chaos and the greatest people-watching ever all wrapped into one Disney experience. Recently, my friends and I took a trip to Disney World, as another friend of ours works there as a part of the College Program. It is pretty safe to say that we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into before getting there. It was an adventure we will never forget, full of laughter, exhaustion and endless surprises. Each day we went through a series of different emotions and we had a lot of the same thoughts at one point or another. It is probably a good bet that most everyone else at Disney experienced some of these same instances as well. Here are just a few:

1. When you realize how much it is going to cost

I must admit, when I saw how much money it was for park hopper passes at Disney, I was a bit taken aback and couldn't help but wonder why the tickets were so expensive.

2. When you realize why it costs so much

It didn't take long before I realized how much went into every nuance that is Disney. From the detail put into the Pirates of the Caribbean ride to all of the energy used to make each ride run, and paying their chemists to create their own fireworks, it definitely isn't an inexpensive place to run.

3. Seeing little kids crying

This was one thing I COULD NOT wrap my mind around. How could there be anything but happy tears in the "happiest place on earth"!?

4. Once you realize you have been up since seven, hit 10 hours of walking and wonder if it is all worth it.

I think you need a vacation from a Disney vacation by the time it is over.

5. When you go on Space Mountain for the first time

To say I walked away completely mind blown is an understatement.

6. Getting fast passes instead of having to wait in a two-hour line.

It is like you own the place.

7. Getting off Mission Space like:

Maybe I shut down the becoming an astronaut idea a little early?

8. Right before Tower of Terror starts

Still not sure how we survived that one.

9. Visiting all of the countries in Epcot

I mean, it's sort of the same as traveling the entire world?

10. When the Haunted Mansion ride knows your name by the time you get off

Magic I guess?

11. Seeing Minnie and Mickey

You would have thought Channing Tatum walked in.

12. Watching the "Illuminations" firework show like

Who knew saltpetre, sulphur and charcoal could be so beautiful?

So, there you have it. I don't think anywhere can even compare to Disneyland or Disney World. At the end of the day, it is where dreams come true, and is the happiest, most magical place on earth.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

Creating your schedule for the upcoming semester can be an exciting process. You have the control to decide if you want to have class two-days a week or five-days a week. You get to check things off of your requirement checklist. It's an opportunity for a fresh start with new classes (which you tell yourself you'll never skip.) This process, which always starts out so optimistic, can get frustrating really quickly. Here are 25 thoughts you have when registering for classes.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
