25 Thoughts While Working Out For The First Time

All my first-time gym goers and all the New Year's resolution dreams that are being shattered to pieces right now, this is for you. We've all been there and I feel your pain.

1. *Walks into gym* "I can totally do this."

2. "Wow all these people in here are like really skinny and abnormally good-looking."

3. "This is like a freak show of good looking people. What the heck?"

4. "I am very out of place."

5. "I wonder if they know that I don't belong. Omg, SOS!"

6. *Looks around suspiciously*

7. "Ok no one seems to be looking at me, I'm in the clear. I have successfully integrated into the gym without being detected."

8. *Makes way over to exercise equipment*

9. "How in the heck does this work?"

10. *Spends 5 minutes looking blankly at machine*

11. "Ok moving on from that one..."

12. "Oh ok I see a treadmill, I can totally do that. I walk to class everyday I see no difference."

13. *Starts treadmill*

14. "Lol, this is easy I'm gonna be looking like a health guru in like a week."

15. "Victoria Secret Angel Wings here I come!"

16. "All my friends are about to get so jealous."

17. *Lightly jogs for 4.2 minutes*

18. "Ok this hurts."

19. "...Like really bad."

20. "I cant breathe! It hasn't even been 5 minutes?"

21. "How are people around me doing this? Am I dying? Am I this out of shape?"

22. *Hits 5 minutes*

23. "Lol ok I'm done; that's enough. Moving on."

24. "Actually, that was a pretty good workout for the first day. I deserve a snack."

25. *Leaves and eats Whataburger*

*Never returns to the gym ever ever again. The end.*

I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.

College students, you might be able to relate to this one. These probably sound familiar because we often tell ourselves these phrases; however, we are unable to follow or agree with these the following, deep down inside of our overwhelmed, tired minds.

1. "No more spending money on useless things"

Until you walk into a 99 cents store and suddenly have the urge to pick up anything that's less than a dollar.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.
